Richard Barber is Managing Partner of L.H. Frishkoff & Company. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Studies from England’s Sheffield Hallam University. Rick holds a CPA license in New York and is a member of the AICPA and New York State Board of Accountancy.
Shortly after graduating he moved to the United States and became a CPA. Rick is the in-charge partner for tax and accounting services, working with clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, entertainment, real estate and import/export. He also works with private equity firms where he performs due diligence and advisory on merger and acquisition transactions as well as sophisticated tax strategies. He specializes in purchase/sale transactions providing advice on both the buy and sell side in tax and structure advisory capacity, including due diligence.
Rick resides in Westchester County with his wife and two younger daughters and enjoys golf, traveling, and the New York Rangers.
Charles Fazio is a Partner at L.H. Frishkoff & Company. He received his Bachelors in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and worked in public accounting before joining the firm in 2002. Charles holds a CPA license in both New York and New Jersey and is a member of the AICPA and New York State Board of Accountancy.
Charles helps companies in the planning and development stage, navigating tax compliance including creating strategies to mitigate tax liabilities and exit strategies. He works with clients in manufacturing, real estate, hospitality, entertainment, art, wholesalers, distribution enterprises, professional services and private equity.
Charles also works with family offices and high net worth individuals, along with the protection and growth of individual client’s financial interests including estate planning.
Internally, he is responsible for staff development ensuring that the team’s technical skills and professional experiences allow them to expertly support and serve L.H. Frishkoff’s clients. He also guides company policy and procedure, creating a workplace environment that fosters independence and creativity.
Charles resides in Warren, New Jersey with his wife and three boys and enjoys volunteering in his community, the Jersey Shore and entertaining.
William J. Spiegel
William J. Spiegel is a Partner at L.H. Frishkoff. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Salve Regina University. Bill is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Connecticut and New York since 1993.
Bill has more than 25 years’ experience in diverse tax, financial, and business consulting experience. Before landing at L.H. Frishkoff, he worked for a variety of companies and CPA firms located throughout the Tri-State area.
At L.H. Frishkoff, he specializes in services for high net worth individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses. Bill has expertise in providing comprehensive accounting services, financial reporting and individual, corporate, partnership, and not-for-profit income tax returns.
Bill resides in Norwalk, Connecticut with his wife and enjoys golf, fishing and the beach.
Vincent Batista is a Partner at L.H. Frishkoff. He received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Baruch College of the City University of New York and is a certified public accountant. Vincent holds a CPA license in New York and is a member of the AICPA.
Vincent has over 20 years of experience, starting his career in the private sector working as an Accountant for an internet research company. He then transitioned to public accounting. At L.H. Frishkoff, he focuses on managing financial statement audit and review engagements of small to large companies. He also consults with clients on accounting best practices, financial reporting, internal controls, and other areas to help them improve their financial reporting process and business operations. He specializes in U.S. GAAP, US GAAS, internal control implementation and financial statement preparation.
Vincent resides with his family in the tri-state area and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Naeem Butt works as an Assurance and Accounting Services Senior Manager for L.H. Frishkoff & Company LLP. He Graduated from Government National College in Karachi, Pakistan in Commerce. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs.
Naeem has 30 years of accounting experience, 20 of those years with L.H. Frishkoff. He started his career at Price Waterhouse in Pakistan. He continued his career at Ernst & Young, working at the Saudi Arabia and New Jersey offices.
Naeem specializes in managing audits for commercial, governmental and not-for-profit organizations including manufacturing entities, financial institutions and trading establishments.
He lives with his wife and four children in Colonia, New Jersey.
Kazusa Nakamura is a Tax Manager at L.H. Frishkoff. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. She is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
Kaz has over 14 years of experience in the industry. She works with both personal and corporate clients on compliance, research and tax consulting services. She has a soft spot for corporate and international taxation.
Kaz lives with her husband in Brooklyn, NY. They are expecting their first child in the fall. When she’s not crunching the numbers, she enjoys hiking, knitting, traveling, checking out local bars and restaurants plus cooking at home.
Lawrence Taylor is a CPA Tax Manager at L.H. Frishkoff. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration at Hofstra University. Lawrence is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
He has 30 years of experience in the industry, starting his career at the Sheet Metal National Pension Fund. At LHF, he specializes in Taxation and Deferred Taxes.
Lawrence lives in Huntington, NY with his wife and two boys. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.
Viollca Kurtaj a Client Advisory Services Senior Manager at L.H. Frishkoff. She received both her Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Accounting from Lehman College/CUNY.
Viollca started her career with LHF over 11 years ago as a staff accountant. With her vast experience, she quickly rose to become the head of the Client Advisory Services department, which she currently leads.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and doing any outdoor activity that allows her to enjoy nature and its scenery.
Lisa Dilger is the Office Manager for L. H. Frishkoff & Company and has been with the firm over 21 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. John’s University. Lisa’s focus at the firm includes administrative duties and support staff tasks.
Lisa currently resides in Queens, New York with her family and enjoys crafting, theater and music, and reading.
Stacy Santiago is the Director of Human Resources at L.H. Frishkoff. She received her Certificate of Human Resources from Columbia University and holds both the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Certified Professional Certificates of Distinction.
She started her career in HR over 25 years ago and has worked in the finance and professional services space throughout her career. Stacy is a generalist, which allows her to have a considerable amount of knowledge in all functional areas of HR.
Stacy currently resides in New York City with her husband. During her off time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, baking, and trying new restaurants.
