Job Description:
Tax Manager – assist with the overall management of the firm’s tax clients including the supervision and training of staff.
Responsibilities:
Review tax returns, tax projections and other areas of tax planning, tax research and the publication of client memorandums and letters and correspondence with taxing authorities. Full support of partners and staff in all areas of taxation.
Corporate tax and tax provisions including quarterly estimates FAS 109 (ASC 740) reporting.
Tax Areas:
Corporate, Partnerships, Estates and Trusts and Individuals (Emphasis in any area is acceptable)
Computer Skills:
ProsystemFX, Tax Research, BNA, CCH Tax Research Manager, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office
Communication/Writing:
Ability to communicate directly with clients and supervise staff. Drafting of tax research memorandums and letters.
Other Skills:
Trustworthy, can work independently, organized, attention to detail, and prompt follow up. Various associations; AICPA, NYSCPA.
